Our Community donating clothing

Sandals and light clothing in the summer; boots, warm socks, and coats in the winter: these are just a few of the items most of us take for granted. Yet many people in our immediate area are in need of affordable, seasonal clothing.

ProActive Exteriors is partnering with Goodwill this year to help provide affordable clothing for poor families. We can help simply by cleaning out our closets.

Last year, more than 65 million people donated to Goodwill, an organization consistently ranked among the top charities that make donations go further. The sales of your donations to Goodwill can help keep our less fortunate neighbors warm this winter. But providing needed clothing is just the beginning. By donating gently used clothing to Goodwill, we also help support personal and financial independence. At Goodwill, 84 percent of revenues are used to fund employment and training programs.
