In the Atlanta area, about 13,000 people each day wake up with no home, including about 2,500 children. Rising prices for food, utilities, and gasoline are exacerbating the underlying problems of poverty and a dearth of affordable housing.

ProActive Exteriors is committed to being part of the solution. This year, we're directing our support toward Rainbow Village, a north Atlanta nonprofit organization that provides families in domestic or economic crisis a healing environment where they can rebuild their lives. With the support of this community-based transitional housing program more than 200 families have successfully transitioned back into the mainstream as productive members of our community. This recovery system is much more than a housing program that risks turning struggling people into disempowered dependents; it's housing along with education, counseling, and other support that helps people become self-sufficient, self-actualized citizens.

Our whole community is strengthened when we help others overcome homelessness.
